This project was carried out as a second-tier subcontract for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) at T.H. Stone Memorial State Park. Located within a federally protected coastal environment, the work required close coordination of construction activities, environmental compliance measures, and quality control procedures to ensure successful delivery.
The scope included construction of two new Ranger Residences and renovation of beach access restroom facilities damaged by Hurricane Michael. The Ranger Residences involved installation of concrete pile foundations, structural systems, architectural finishes, appliances, utility connections, and complete turnkey construction services. The restroom facilities were repaired and renovated to restore functionality and improve resiliency after the storm damage.
Coordination of multiple trades, material procurement, schedule management, quality control inspections, safety compliance, and environmental protection measures was critical due to the sensitive coastal setting of the park.
The project was completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
