This project was a Won and Run (we wrote the proposal, and then performed as Project Manager, Site Safety Health Officer, Environmental Manager, and Scheduler for the Prime Contractor) for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Fort Worth, TX District. Performed as Preconstruction PM, Superintendent, Site QC and Safety, Specifier, and generated all required CAD drawings.
This project included the removal of existing single-pane glass units and existing paint system to base steel. Existing paint contains lead and required specialized removal and disposal of lead contaminated debris in compliance with Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) GUIDE 6 and Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) Guide 7.
2x2-ton and 5-ton doors were removed and repaired, including structural repairs and replacement of hinge-bearings and specialized, cutom fabricated pins.
Work was completed successfully.
